The Bachelor of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) at UniSQ equips students with AI skills applicable across industries. Students learn to implement AI algorithms, process large datasets, and consider ethical issues. This degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
To study this degree we assume you have sound knowledge in: English (Units 3 & 4, C), and General Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C) Yourr knowledge must be equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12). It is also recommended that you have studied Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent.
Behavioral Stability: Students must demonstrate resilience and adaptability to work effectively in diverse and changing academic and professional environments. Communication Skills: Proficient communication in English is essential for providing professional advice and practice in IT. Students need to communicate accurately, appropriately, and timely, both verbally and in writing. Ethical and Professional Behavior: Adherence to ethical standards set by professional bodies like the Australian Computer Society is mandatory. This involves engaging in ethical behavior, reflecting on ethical dilemmas, and taking responsibility for ethical conduct in data and technology usage. Legal Compliance: Students must understand and comply with Australian laws, codes of conduct, and professional regulations relevant to information technology and data usage.
